Dechen Namjur

Dechen Namjur is a committed legal professional with a BA LLB (Hons.) specializing in International Law from Lovely Professional University, India, and a Postgraduate Diploma in National Law (PGDNL) from Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, Bhutan. Her academic background provides her with a strong foundation in both international and national legal systems.

She has developed her practical legal skills through internships with a reputed NGO and the High Court of Nainital in India. In Bhutan, she has interned in various courts of law, gaining valuable hands-on experience in judicial processes and legal practice. Her interest in international law drives her passion for cross-border legal issues, human rights, and global governance.

Currently, Dechen works at Basnet Attorneys and Law, where she is engaged in legal drafting, research, and company-related matters. She is dedicated to contributing meaningfully to the legal profession with integrity, critical thinking, and a strong commitment to justice at both national and international levels.
